Several programs in the school district would have been cut had it not been for the generous support of the Parsons Area Community Foundation. In particular, our High School Robotics program has received funding from the Foundation for many years. Robotics is designed for pre-engineering students. During the school year, students build a robot and then enter the robot in competitions at the state level. This year, our students were fortunate enough to compete at the national level as well. The school district would not have been able to fund such a venture without the assistance of the Parsons Area Community Foundation.
